National Center for Scientific ResearchThe National Center for Scientific Research is an interdisciplinary public research organisation for fundamental and applied scientific research under the responsibility of the French Ministry of Education and Research. Founded in 1939, CNRS encourages collaborations between specialists from different disciplines in particular with the university, thus opening up new fields of enquiry to meet social and economic needs.
The research will be carried out at LEMTA, that is a joint research unit of the University of Lorraine and of the CNRS (UMR 7563). It focuses its research activities on Mechanics and Energy. LEMTA contributes to create new knowledge in the field of engineering sciences. This research is carried out by nearly 75 academic staff, 30 administrative and technical staff and about 60 PhD students and post-doctoral fellows. 
 
Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico IIThe University of Naples Federico II (Italian: Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II) is a university in Naples, Italy. Founded in 1224, it is the oldest public non-sectarian university in the world, and is now organized into 13 faculties. The Department of Earth Science, Environment and Resources (DiSTAR) accommodates offices for staff, PhD students, and research students in a recent building in the Science Campus of Monte Sant’Angelo of the University of Napoli Federico II. Seconded researchers/staff members will be provided with a bench space and laptop computer.

Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering InstituteZAG is the leading Slovenian Institute in the field of building and civil engineering. Greenland Institute of Natural ResourcesThe Greenland Institute of Natural Resources (GINR) conducts research into Arctic ecosystems, monitors the living resources and the environment in Greenland and advises the Government of Greenland and other authorities on sustainable exploitation of living resources and safeguarding the environment and biodiversity. GINR was established on 1 January 1995.
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources at GINR led by Mr. Karl Zinglersen is newly established (spring 2014). The Institute provides advice to the Government of Greenland and undertakes research on environmental issues related to minerals resources, including exploration and exploitation of minerals, closure of mines and reclamation related environmental issues, environmental impact assessment (EIA), etc.

Adama Science and Technology UniversityAdama Science and Technology University (ASTU) was first established in 1993 as Nazaret Technical College, offering degree and diploma level education programs in technology field. University of Science and Technology of IranThe School of Civil Engineering at IUST has a distinguished reputation in relaying up to date information and research in the field of civil engineering. Currently, there are 44 full time faculty members. The Geotechnical Research Center is known as one of the important research centers in IUST. This research center has many facilities for conducting advanced geotechnical tests and has many devices for physical modeling of all types of geotechnical structures. Furthermore, the environmental section of this center has many facilities to carry out different environmental geotechnics projects.
